OPTICAL SAGNAC MEASUREMENT FOR APPLICATION IN GYROSCOPY

Bidirectional ring lasers present a unique platform for rotational measurement. By applying novel real-time ultrashort pulse measurements techniques instead of conventional heterodyne measurements, we have justified high potential of mid-sized ultrafast fibre laser gyroscope to reach high sensitivity
